The position involves performing advanced medical history, checking patient's visual acuity, dilating patient's eyes, and conducting various ophthalmic tests including basic slit-lamp exams, visual fields, color vision tests, lensometry, tonometry, keratometry, and refractometry. The role also includes assisting with office surgical procedures, maintaining complete and accurate information in the patient's medical record, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, and ensuring all equipment and instruments are in proper working order. Additionally, the position requires screening patient phone calls and questions while adhering to the Guest Relation Policy, which emphasizes politeness, attentiveness, and courtesy to all patients.
