About The Position

Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Meadow Brook Rehab and Pine Creek Rehab in Salt Lake City. In this role you will split time between both nursing facilities. About the Role As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life. SNF Practice Highlights Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients Perform and assist with all types of transfers Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team Competency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areas

Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing
  • Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
  • Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused
  • Passion for working with the geriatric population

Nice To Haves

  • One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
