About The Position

This Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) role in Lake Placid, FL, offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient care, providing variety, continuity of care, and professional growth opportunities across settings. Requirements

  • Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited COTA program
  • Active or pending state COTA license
  • One year of COTA experience

Responsibilities

  • Treat patients with both non-surgical and post-operative presentations, featuring a diverse mix of sport-specific rehabilitation and joint and spine management
  • Maintain appropriate and optimal caseloads
  • Prioritize professional interests and growth
  • Collaborate with AdventHealth colleagues and surgeons to develop a comprehensive healthcare approach
  • Provide unmatched collaboration with referral sources and surgeons for foundational knowledge to guide personalized treatments
