About The Position

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Requirements

  • Current and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Indiana
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff

Responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff
  • Utilize clinical skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the residents
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents
  • Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of our residents
  • Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents
  • Support a respectful and positive work environment
