Are you a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to join a great team of professionals? Join our team in Frederick, MD at Frederick Health Hospital. We are currently hiring for: PRN COTA : Flexible schedule with an expectation of 2–4 weekend days per month, plus one major and one minor holiday/ year. Full-Time COTA : A Monday through Friday with a minimum requirement of one weekend/ month and a holiday requirement of one major and one minor holiday/ year. Includes Full Time benefits! The details: This is a large team with a fast paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care caseloads. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. We will also consider new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations. Requirements

  • Degree from a ACOTE accredited school
  • Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland
  • Has one (1) year hospital acute experience or experience in a skilled environment
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Will display strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
  • Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
  • Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR)
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload
  • Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory expectations
  • Conduct patient and family education
  • Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
