About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team. In this role, you will provide short-term skilled nursing care and therapy to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Requirements

Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and treatment techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and document client progress accurately
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with clinical teams
Organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
Physically and mentally able to perform all job responsibilities
Completion of a background check is required. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment
1-3 years of experience preferred
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
State licensure or certification as a COTA

Responsibilities

Provide home health occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist individuals of all ages with physical, mental, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to perform daily living tasks.
Implement personalized therapeutic programs and interventions to improve functional independence and enhance the quality of life for patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and strategies to maintain progress at home
