Requirements

Associate degree or higher
Pediatric Care (1+ years)
1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
Allscripts Enterprise EHR
Allscripts Professional EHR
Other EMR
Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan (MI)

Responsibilities

Implements and executes an individualized client treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Addresses client needs relative to daily living, motor and play skills, sensory integration, and more to promote independence.
Communicates with clients, families, referring physicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and other members of the team.
Provides timely documentation per company and department requirements.
Provides timely written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements.
Attends weekly ancillary service meetings with other professionals.
Reports any changes in client status or treatment needs to Supervising Occupational Therapist when appropriate.
Meets or exceeds the productivity standards as established by the company.
Uses professional judgment to ensure safety of self, clients, and other professionals.
Maintains quality client care through interdisciplinary communication.
Effectively communicates with Supervising Occupational Therapists concerning clients’ response to treatment plan.
Attends in -services, training sessions or other meetings relevant to efficient and effective treatment services.
Coordinates treatment goals with other team members.
Maintains valid licensure, certification or equivalent as requested by appropriate state agency.
