About The Position

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will help to ensure that REHAB patients and their families receive caring and dedicated service at REHAB. You will provide support for the Therapy Department and assist with a variety of services with a commitment to delivering high-quality, comprehensive and innovative inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Responsible for working with patients to provide therapy outlined in the individualized treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR).

Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification as a COTA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accredited school.
• Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility.
• Ability to clearly communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to safely provide care to patients.
