About The Position

Pine Creek Care Center is seeking a passionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our supportive and collaborative therapy team. If you’re a team player who is dedicated to helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life, we’d love to meet you! The COTA works closely with the Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care and support rehabilitation goals. This role plays an essential part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered therapy services. Requirements

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing with the State of CA
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care
  • Meets all continuing education requirements per state regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of documentation systems such as Casamba and PointClickCare preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist and physician treatment plans
  • Document daily treatments, progress notes, and required therapy records in compliance with state regulations and payer requirements
  • Communicate patient progress and needs with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Assist with restorative aide training and caregiver education
  • Participate in discharge planning and family education
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area
  • Support in-services and ongoing staff education
