Requirements

Current, valid California COTA License in good standing.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for geriatric rehabilitation and resident advocacy.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality therapeutic treatments as directed by the supervising OTR, helping residents master Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and regain their independence.
Ensure all treatments align with physician-approved plans and document daily progress with precision according to the OT Board State Practice Act.
Assist in training Restorative Aides and provide in-service education to ensure a 24/7 rehabilitative environment.
Maintain open, proactive lines of communication with the OTR, nursing staff, and families regarding resident goals and successes.
Educate families and caregivers on maintenance programs and functional strategies to ensure a safe transition home.
