Our client provides full-service health care and personalized support to help you age well at home and in your community. This full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position involves administering participant treatment programs as established by the Occupational Therapist, assisting the Occupational Therapist in obtaining vital signs, ranges of motion, and strength testing. The role also requires coordinating with other members of the Rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs based on participants’ individual treatment plans, handling scheduling of participants’ treatments, clinical visits, and billing, and documenting occupational therapy interventions in accordance with established care plans, including the use of devices, techniques, and activities to promote muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, endurance, and other factors affecting independence in performing ADLs.
