About The Position
LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- current state COTA license
- knowledge of Medicare documentation
- strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- LTC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- carry out established plans of care
- assist patients with daily living skills and functional activities
- fabricate and adapt splints and assistive devices
- help design and modify patient environments
- educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment
- complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards
