Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program from an accredited college or university.
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
  • Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
  • Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Compatible with company culture and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
  • Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
  • Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.
  • Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
  • Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
