About The Position

Emerge Nursing and Rehabilitation has an opportunity for a Full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The COTA will be responsible for selecting therapy activities to fit Residents' needs and capabilities, assisting Residents in carrying out daily activities, and monitoring their performance while providing encouragement. They will also teach Residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function, work in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist (OT) to establish a rehabilitation plan, supervise Residents' activities to ensure they are done properly, and report the Residents' progress to the OT.

Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited COTA Program

• Experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
