About The Position

Our skilled nursing facility is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA. Requirements

• Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) with a valid state license
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to implement customized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, activities, and functional tasks.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and activities for ongoing improvement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
