The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities based on the physician and provider orders. COTA helps patients improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems, improving their motor skills needed for daily living activities. Occupational Therapy Assistants work alongside licensed Occupational Therapists as they treat patients with limited mobility. An Occupational Therapy Assistant closely records the treatments for patients, often coordinating occupational therapy with other types of therapeutic activities within a hospital or rehabilitation setting. Shifts / Hours: This is a part-time, day-shift role. Hours can be flexible depending on patient needs. Anticipate 20 - 24 hours a week consistently
