Position Overview We're seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team at South Ogden Post-Acute, a highly respected skilled nursing facility in Ogden, Utah. This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated, caring, and team-oriented therapist who enjoys working with the geriatric population. You'll help residents regain independence and confidence in their daily lives while being part of a supportive and collaborative therapy team. Need help mastering a skill? Requirements
- Current Utah OTA license in good standing
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, self-motivated, and dedicated to improving patient outcomes
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of SNF experience preferred, but new grads with passion and initiative are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with adaptive ADL retraining and functional mobility activities
- Treat residents with varying degrees of clinical complexity
- Demonstrate proficiency with all types of transfers and safety techniques
- Accurately document therapy sessions in compliance with company and facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure consistent, patient-centered care
