About The Position

A full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant, (COTA/OTA), position is available in a beautiful and brand new sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Sanford, ME. The facility offers outdoor spaces off of each wing; as well as, a large, state of the art gym situated right off the rehab floor. The rehab and nursing staff are supportive, friendly and work well together to offer our patients the best care possible. Westgate specializes in Dementia Care. The facility is 104 bed capacity with a 38-bed assisted living attached. Westgate is known for its incredible ability to care for their dementia patients. Requirements

  • Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
