It specializes in helping patients recover from serious illnesses or injuries that have impacted their ability to function independently. Highlights: Comprehensive Inpatient Rehab : Offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions. Intensive Therapy Model : Patients receive at least three hours of therapy per day, five days a week, under the supervision of a rehabilitation physician and 24-hour rehab nursing. Personalized Care Plans : Treatment is tailored to each patient’s goals, with a focus on restoring independence and transitioning safely back home. Modern Amenities : Features private rooms and a specialized therapy gym to support recovery in a comfortable, focused environment. Requirements

  • Licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state where services are rendered.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team.
  • Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and post treatment charges to patient records daily.
  • Document patient care accurately and in accordance with all regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
  • Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable laws and professional standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
