Requirements

  • Current, valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in California (or eligibility to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Document patient progress accurately in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize patient independence and quality of life.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement within our in-house therapy department.
