About The Position
AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bakersfield, CA. This 6-month contract offers stability, collaboration, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients’ daily lives.
Requirements
- Active California COTA license
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred — new graduates encouraged to apply
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and adaptive equipment training
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Promote safety, independence, and quality of life for patients
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Benefits
