Requirements
- Associate Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current New Mexico Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification
- BLS REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of an Physical Therapist, applies a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical, psycho-social, and developmental disorders.
- Requires detailed knowledge of occupational therapy in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done, this level includes interpretation of data.
- Basic understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific setting
