Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited school of a surgical technologist.
• One year experience as a surgical technologist and/or prior experience in clinical patient care setting is preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification issued by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by American Heart Association.
• Good communication skills.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support as it relates to their scope of practice under the direction of the Registered Nursing staff.
• Perform routine patient care activities and surgical technician duties.
• Ensure accessibility and readiness of supplies and equipment.

Benefits

• Compensation range of $34.09 - $44.87 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
• Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 8 hours in a 12-hour shift.
