Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) are para-professional employees trained to provide personal care and health-related services. CNA’s help care for people who are sick, injured, convalescent or disabled. CNA’s work under the direction of staff nurse, RN Supervisor and the Director of Nursing and/or Assistant Director of Nursing; the nature of the direction and supervision required varies by job setting. CNA’s are trained to provide auxiliary services, such as personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
