Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Needed For Weekend ON CALL
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care services that enrich the lives of our clients. We pride ourselves on our compassionate and professional team of caregivers who help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our clients. This is an ON CALL position Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-7:30pm. You will clock in at your home 7:30am and must stay in the area to be on call for any call outs. Must be okay with cats and dogs, and able to work with a wide variety of clients including difficult clients. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, administer medication under the direction of a nurse, and provide emotional support to clients and their families.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a CNA with a current license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status
- Follow care plans and work closely with the care team
