About The Position
The #1 Priority of this position is… To provide patient care under the direction of the charge nurse and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant Florida Certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Responsible, energetic, punctual, resourceful, very accurate and detail oriented.
- Flexible as to work schedule.
- Able to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
- An enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care such as: baths, showers, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, fingernail and toenail care, monitoring fluid intake and output, toileting care, etc.
- Takes residents vital signs and blood pressure as indicated by nurse and promptly reports findings.
- Carries out all safety measures for residents and self in body mechanics.
- Prepare admission packets/supplies for new admissions.
