About The Position

Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of high school
- Active CNA certification in the state of Illinois
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 90% of working time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
