About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) for full-time or part-time home health visits to clients in Rockingham and Guilford counties. As an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team, the Home Health Aide provides home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, enabling clients to remain at home. The role offers flexible schedules, a 1:1 patient ratio, and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation. BAYADA ensures a safe working environment with PPE supplies, comprehensive infection prevention protocols, daily pre-screens, and close monitoring of the COVID-19 outbreak. Requirements
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements

Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping

- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
