About The Position

Our Intermediate Critical Care Unit is a 20 bed unit that specializes in stepdown care. We serve a population that includes but in not limited to sepsis, diabetes, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with non-invasive respiratory support, stable tracheostomy tubes not requiring mechanical ventilation. Our preferred patient ratio is 3:1, sometimes flex to 4:1. Family focused culture - Be part of a team who genuinely care about each other. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, will provide and document assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of NAI program required.
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.

Nice To Haves

• One year preferred. Flexible on experience
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
