About The Position

Easterseals West Kentucky, Inc. is searching for a full-time CNA for our Adult Day Health Care program. The CNA will be responsible for working with adults with complex medical needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• CNA license required
• Previous experience required
• Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects and goals
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Must be a citizen of the United States and possess a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Providing support for clients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including, but not limited to bathing, dressing, using the toilet, walking, standing and exercising.
• Ensuring clients receive appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies and preferences.
• Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiration rate as requested by staff.
• Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
• Participating and scheduling client outings and activities.
