About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Lake Correctional Institution, located in Clermont, Florida. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. This professional assists patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring. Full-Time Night Shift with rotating weekends; 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Requirements

• Florida CNA license
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current CPR
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Corrections experience not required
