Requirements

  • Kansas C.N.A. certification required
  • A caring heart and a team-first attitude 💙
  • Ability to stay organized and calm in a busy environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Completed Certified Nurse Assistant program and minimum age of 17 required
  • Certified Nurse Assistant certification, CPR

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in hospital setting preferred
  • Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language.
  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Must have basic computer and Microsoft Office program skills, electronic medical record experience, and the ability to operate required nursing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation, positioning, etc.)
  • Take and record vital signs, collect lab specimens, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Keep patient areas safe, clean, and welcoming
  • Provide clerical and reception support including registering patients, scheduling, and greeting visitors
  • Be a champion of patient comfort, dignity, and privacy
