About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistant - OMH Day Surgery- 0.9 FTE The Day Surgery Unit is a 23 bed Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery unit. The staff provide pre and post operative/procedural care to Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, GI and a select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services. An average of 15 patients per day begin in day surgery with the majority of patients being discharged the day of their procedure and some admitted to critical or inpatient units. Schedule Details: mostly mid shift (around 9-1730); hours of operation are 0530-1930 Monday thru Friday We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide support to the staff and patients on the unit. Qualified candidates will work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients. Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits and patient processes. ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital serves on average 2500 patients annually; within the 23 Day Surgery patient care rooms, 8 Operating Room suites, and 8 Post-Anesthesia recovery bays. Surgical Services embraces a collaborative approach for treating a patient’s injury or illness. Care is delivered by our skilled clinical team and integrated ancillary support team; which provides all levels of clinical assistance maintaining a high quality care and patient safety. The Surgical Services arena encompasses Orthopedics, General & Vascular, Gynecology, Podiatry, Urology, and Ophthalmology surgical procedures. The Day Surgery department is an outpatient surgical unit that provides care before and after surgery, heart catherization procedures, radiology procedures, and GI procedures. Although the majority of patients are discharged the day of their procedure, some are admitted to critical or acute care units. ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial is certified by The Joint Commission as a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. Offers the MAKOplasty® and Anterior Hip Arthroplasty procedure to patients. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
WI Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
Must have a strong interest in customer service, able to multi task, work independently with little supervision
Passionate about providing excellent patient care
