About The Position
SmithLife Homecare is currently seeking passionate, upbeat, and hardworking Certified Nursing Assistants with a valid Maryland license. We are specifically hiring for weekend-only positions, with flexible shift options available in the mornings and evenings. As a nursing agency, SmithLife Homecare allows caregivers to choose cases that best fit their availability and preferences. All assignments are one-on-one care, giving caregivers the opportunity to focus on a single client and provide high-quality, personalized care.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Maryland
- Valid CPR Certification
- Two doses of the COVID Vaccine
- Recent Tuberculosis screening
- Strong interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting with bathroom
- Medication reminders
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Assisting with shopping
- Transport to and from appointments as needed
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Dementia care
