About The Position
Otterbein Staffing Agency (OSA) is seeking caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join their team in the Central Columbus Market, including Gahanna, New Albany, and Granville. The agency offers a sense of stability, backed by an organization with over 110 years of history in senior care. CNAs will have the flexibility to choose their work location, schedule, and frequency. In this role, Certified Nursing Assistants support nurses in directing resident care, operating as partners in caring rather than employees. Otterbein emphasizes person-centered care, honoring residents' choices, and is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care. Otterbein SeniorLife is a non-profit 501(c)(3) health and human service organization focused on serving residents, offering various senior living options including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab, memory support, respite care, in-home care, and hospice services across Ohio and Indiana.
Requirements
- Graduate of approved certified nursing assistant program
- Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA certification required in the State of Ohio.
- Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- At least 6 months of direct care CNA experience
Responsibilities
- Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
- Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
- Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
- Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
- Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.
