We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a variety of settings including ICU/Intensive Care, CCU/Critical Care, Med Surg/Medical/Surgical, DOU/Telemetry, and ER/ED (Emergency Room/Emergency Department). The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of California
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in an acute care setting
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Take vital signs and record patient information
  • Assist with medical procedures and tests
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
