About The Position
As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit.
Requirements
- Graduate from high school or its equivalent.
- Current CA C.N.A certification, BLS and MAB.
Nice To Haves
- Recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient.
- Notifies R.N. and/or L.V.N. of relevant changes in the patient’s condition including, but not limited to changes in V.S., level of consciousness and/or pain, breathing pattern, drainage, amount of bleeding, mood, or increase and decrease in capabilities/limitations.
