Join BAYADA Home Health and Make a Difference in Your Community! BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant in the N. Philadelphia area. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Certified Nursing assistant CNA - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential. We currently have part-time/per-diem shifts available in the following zip codes: 19124, W 6:30p-7a, Sat 8p-8a, Sun 8p-7a overnight Will be working along side with a special education tutor A Certified Nurse Aide must: Have at least one year of work experience Active CNA Cert and Must be listed on the PA Aide Registry, active and in good standing. Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination Enjoy being part of a team that cares and a company that believes in leading with our values
Requirements
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Active CNA Cert and Must be listed on the PA Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
