About The Position
Our Emergency Department is a 26 bed unit that specializes in providing immediate medical care for patients with server or urgent illnesses or injuries Supportive Leadership that values your contributions Diverse Emergency Cases treating all types of emergent needs Collaborative Environment , working with various specialties Autonomy in managing your unit What You'll Do Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of NAI program required.
- Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required.
- Medication Safety - AME required.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
Nice To Haves
- Critical Care Experience - Preferred
- One year preferred.
- One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
- A calm demeanor under pressure
- Ability to handle high-acuity patients
- A hardworking team player who thrives with recognition
