About The Position
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. Certified Nursing Assistant Per-diem EVE & NOC shifts available (weekend availability preferred) Salary Range: $18.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience Overtime pay after 8th hour $2 per hour NOC shift differential for NOC shift Valid CA driver’s license required Goleta, CA NeuroRestorative facility located on North Patterson Ave. Residential setting 6-bed facility & Adult Day Program Paid time off (vacation, sick and personal) On demand pay via Dayforce Wallet
Requirements
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Completion of CNA certification program AND current California CNA certification
- Current in CPR for Healthcare Provider
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
Nice To Haves
- Six months CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
Responsibilities
- Take basic vitals such as heart rate, temperature and blood pressure
- Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings.
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
- Facilitate the working relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings, or providing transportation to work or other activities.
- Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.
