About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides care in Skilled Nursing Facilities, responding to the physical and psychological needs of members served, consistent with recovery-centered care principles. This role is for the Garfield Neurobehavioral Center, a 56-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) that offers medical, nursing, and rehabilitative services to individuals aged 18-64 with neurobehavioral and mental illnesses.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Current Nursing Assistant Certification
Ability to communicate in English both verbal and written
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
Acceptable criminal background clearances
Excluded party sanctions
Degree or license verification
If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment
