Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
• A caring, patient-focused attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support patients during mealtimes, including feeding assistance when needed
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other important health information
• Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Help reposition patients and provide preventative skin care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Accurately document care provided in clinical records
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
• Work closely with nurses and team members to deliver high-quality care
