About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time, night shift position with 12-hour shifts. A $2,000 bonus is offered for full-time employment. Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) that provides long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, it offers a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered
Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required
BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire

Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming
Providing a clean, healthy and safe environment
Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills
Recognizes emergency situations and responds
