Adherence to infection prevention policies, including hand hygiene and proper disposal of contaminated materials, is essential. The CNA must demonstrate knowledge and skills for providing age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development principles across the lifespan, and interpreting patient status to meet age-specific needs.
