About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work the 12-hour day shift, 6:00 am -6:30 pm, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of daily assistance and companionship. Requirements

• Valid CNA certification/license in the state of employment
• Prior experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control practices
• Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance and help residents with transfers and positioning
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health status to nursing staff
• Support residents with eating and hydration needs, ensuring proper nutrition
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Document care provided accurately and timely in residents’ records
• Foster a respectful, compassionate, and supportive atmosphere for residents and their families
