About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical and mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections . We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution located in Milton, Florida. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) : Will work with the Medical Providers working up and prepping the providers patients Works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional environment preferred
