About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, supporting patients' comfort and assisting with daily living activities and clinical procedures. Requirements

  • Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
  • Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
  • CPR/BCLS certification required.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
  • Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
  • Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
  • Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
  • Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
  • Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
  • Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
