About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part-Time Evenings at Acacia Health Center Starting Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour (based on license date) Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour for night shifts starting at 6pm Schedule: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Who we are: Step into Acacia Health Center and experience the future of senior living and care. What we offer: Sick Time Scholarships (for employees working 12+ hours weekly and their school-aged dependents) 4 hours of holiday worked pay Employee assistance program Daily pay options Comprehensive orientation with ongoing support, continuing learning, and professional development A fantastic work environment and supportive team Who you are: Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training program Current Arizona CNA license required Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care Physical ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs, stand, reach, and assist with resident transfers (up to 125 lbs) and push residents in wheelchairs or shower chairs Someone who provides high levels of customer care with compassion and heart Flu vaccine is required What you'll do: Provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities, including taking vitals and administering treatments Answering call lights Changing linens Keeping resident rooms tidy Maintaining safe and sanitary work conditions Assisting with resident transfers and positioning Performing routine tasks with a smile and genuine care for our residents Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
  • Current Arizona CNA license required
  • Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs, stand, reach, and assist with resident transfers (up to 125 lbs) and push residents in wheelchairs or shower chairs
  • Someone who provides high levels of customer care with compassion and heart
