About The Position
This position provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. The care provided must conform to established care and treatment policies and procedures, and the individual must demonstrate knowledge of population-specific needs and competencies.
Requirements
- Current Nursing Assistant License issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing
- Ability to provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff
- Ability to follow instructions and report observations of bio-psychosocial needs and behaviors to licensed nurse in timely manner
- Skills in providing direction and assistance to patients in activities of daily living
- Knowledge of developmental and psychiatric disorders
- Demonstrate competencies as defined on Competency Assessment
Nice To Haves
- High School or equivalent desirable
- Experience as a nursing assistant desirable
- Experience in a behavioral health setting highly desirable

- Nights $2.25/Hour Weekday & $3.00/Hour Weekend
