About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to join our team at Georgia Diagnostics and Classification Prison - Jackson, GA. Night shift | 36 hours + rotating weekends | 7 :00 PM - 7:30 AM Pay Range: $17.00-$22.00 + $1.50 shift diff. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Medical) works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The CNA is responsible for assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
